set my eyes on Your face.

Lord, continue to help me keep my eyes fixed on you when I sit in your presence. When looking into other's eyes there builds an intimacy. Here on earth, there is only so intimate humans can become. But you, Lord, speak to my soul and cover me in your steadfast love. Today I pray that you help me to continue setting my eyes upon you as I pursue the journey that you are leading me in.

I lean not on my own understanding knowing that my life is in the hands of the maker of heaven.

Jesus I know you will make something beautiful out of me. Thank you for turning my ashes to beauty and building me up in my obedience. Thank you, Lord Jesus, for the steadfast love you show to me every single day. Thank you for the sacrifice you made on the cross in bearing my sins.

Thank you, Jesus.
