Preston uses his personal experiences and Biblical examples beautifully! What I really appreciate about Preston Perry (and his wife, Jackie Hill Perry) is how they speak the truth with both boldness and grace. This book is a powerful reminder that sharing our faith is not about winning arguments, especially when someone’s heart is hard. What a great reminder thatGod is about relationship, so we should be too.

Why would someone care about what we have to say, or what we believe, if they don’t believe we care about them?

I especially appreciated how Preston opened the book by sharing parts of his testimony: where he came from, the tumultuous road to salvation, and the context for how he even became an apologist. His transparency and humility give the message so much weight.

Another highlight was how Preston showcases that God creates everyone differently, so naturally, the way we share the gospel will look different from person to person. He and Jackie are a perfect example - very different in personality and approach, yet both faithful to the calling to evangelize in ways that align with their God-given strengths. That really encouraged me to trust the way I am uniquely equipped to share Christ.

Tell the truth now, not to win someone but to show them a hope that transcends anything this earth can offer.
