i look to You

Lord, I know that I am inadequate. I know I fail so often.

The confidence I have in myself is like when I think there’s another step on the stairs and then fall flat on my face.

Thank you, my Lord and my God, for catching me even when it’s my own pride causing me to stumble. Thank you for your eternal patience in loving me and waiting for me to turn back to you.

I need you. Jesus, I need you.

Help me to continue looking to you for direction and truth, not to myself or relying on others. Your word flourishes in front of me and guides me on the path you have.

Help me to be as humble as Onesimus and as faithful as Job in this new season.

Give me your eyes for the world in front of me and your heart for those I will encounter.

Thank you for your grace and mercy all the days of my life and into eternity.

Help me to glorify you. Thank you, Jesus
