Instagram Story Anxiety

I have a podcast, and I wanted to promote the newest episode on our Instagram page.

SO, I just spent 20 minutes walking away from all civilization in order to make an Instagram story so that people wouldn't look at me weird as I talked to myself on a tiny screen.

Every time I think about this I crack up. First of all because who cares that I'm making a video to include my very small audience and the fact that I care enough to walk a BLOCK away so no one sees me.

I will continue to work and ponder on this point. Why do we care and why do they care? Social Media is a part of our world. Is it something we should fully embrace, fully reject, or find some kind of middle ground?
